Resistance furnace temperature failure analysis

The resistance furnace is a heating furnace that uses resistance wire or resistance belt as heating element. It has the characteristics of stable performance, easy maintenance, wide application range and high reliability. There are some common faults in the use of resistance furnace sometimes. The following is the fault analysis about temperature.

I. Slow heating

1. If the power supply voltage is normal, the controller works normally, and the common fault is that some electric furnace wires are broken. You can use a multimeter to check and replace them with electric furnace wires of the same specifications.

2. If the power supply voltage is normal, but the working voltage of the electric furnace is low, the reason is that the voltage drop of the power supply line is too large or the socket and control switch are not in good contact. You can adjust and replace it.

3. If the power supply voltage is lower than the normal voltage, and the heating power is insufficient when the electric furnace is working, the three-phase power supply is missing a phase, which can be adjusted and repaired.

II. Temperature abnormality

1. The thermocouple is not inserted into the furnace, causing the furnace temperature to be out of control.

2. The graduation number of the thermocouple is inconsistent with the graduation number of the temperature control instrument, which will cause the furnace temperature to be inconsistent with the temperature displayed by the temperature control instrument.

If the electric resistance furnace fails during use, please turn off the power immediately for inspection and do not continue to work.
