Analysis of vacuum drop in rotary vane vacuum pump

Rotary vane vacuum pumps include 2X, X, 2XZ, XD rotary vane vacuum pumps and WX oil-free vacuum pumps, etc. Vacuum drop refers to the current measured vacuum of the rotary vane vacuum pump being lower than the factory index or the vacuum in previous use, which is the most common problem of vacuum pumps.

Generally, the main reasons for the reduction of vacuum degree are as follows:

1. Low vacuum degree caused by vacuum pump oil, that is, the vacuum pump oil is emulsified and discolored or too dirty.

Solution: Drain all vacuum pump oil in the pump, replace the same type of vacuum pump oil, and solve the problem of water vapor and impurities in the pumped gas not entering the pump.

2. The temperature of the pumped gas may be too high.

Solution: Lower the temperature of the pumped gas, or add a corresponding heat exchanger.

3. The oil circuit in the pump is blocked or not smooth, and a certain amount of oil is not maintained in the pump chamber.

Solution: Check whether the oil circuit is unobstructed and add the same type of vacuum pump oil.

4. The brand of the added rotary vane vacuum pump oil is different from the original one. Since the saturated vapor pressure in different brands of oil is different, the results are different.

Solution: Replace the correct new vacuum pump oil according to the model and specifications of the product.

5. The matching gap is increased. The gas being pumped for a long time contains dust, etc., which causes the gap between the rotor and the stator to increase due to wear.

Solution: Check whether the gap is too large and replace new parts.
